Clyde P. Krepps

Clyde P. Krepps, 70, of RD 1, Freedom, died Friday, August 4, 1972 in the Rochester Unit of the Medical Center of Beaver County following a brief illness..

Born Oct. 8, 1901 in Butler County, he was a life-long resident of the area.  He was a retired employee of the Penn Central Railroad after 42 years of service and a former member of the U.S. Marine Corps.

His wife, Vera Mae Krepps, preceded him in death in June, 1958.  Surviving are two sons, Melvin L. and Jack R. both of RD 1, Freedom; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Ruckert, Conway, and Mrs. Margie Rowley, RD 1, Baden: 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; a brother Vivian A., RD 1, Freedom, and a sister Mrs. Anna Dewyer, Terre Haute, Ind.

Friends will be received in the Jack L. Gross Funeral Home, 1041 Third Avenue, Freedom, today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. Rev. John Duffus, pastor of Rehoboth Lutheran Church Economy Borough ill officiate.

Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Freedom.
