Mrs. Hazlett of Tippery Dies at 78

Mrs. Lucy N. Hazlett, 78 of Tippery, Seneca RD 1, wife of Edward Hazlett, died at 11 p.m. Monday in Oil City Hospital.

Born in Shippenville January 14, 1898, she was a daughter of Ezra and Nettie Mortimer Bryner.

She and Edward Hazlett were married August 2, 1926.  They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary this year.

Surviving along with her husband are three sons, Lawrence Hazlett of Hubbard, Ohio, Howard Hazlett of DeLand, Fla., and Paul Hazlett of Erie; two daughters Mrs. Russell (Helen) Stahlman of Oil City and Mrs. Mable Stine of Cranberry.

Also surviving are three brothers, Harold Bryner of Beaver, Merrill Bryner of East Liverpool, Ohio, and Homer Bryner of Monaca; a sister Evelyn Bryner of Beaver; 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

A brother and a sister are deceased.

Friends will be received any time at the Charles A. Morrison Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm today.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Thursday in the funeral home with Lt. Vernon Dolby of North Adams, Mass., officiating.   Interment will be in the Brandon Cemetery.
